Hey sweet soul! The biggest transformation of my own life came when I switched from doing only traditional cognitive talk therapy to integrative mind-body coaching + somatic healing. I learned how to self-regulate, to accept my authentic emotions, and to respond to them more effectively with compassion.
My nervous system was so sensitive. I needed a more holistic approach to healing both my mind AND body because frankly, my body was holding so much alarm from fear, anger, confusion, grief, and shame. I couldn’t think my way to being at peace within myself after stacked trauma + chronic long term stress.
